Kupu Hou 

The following are many useful kupu to use in your center with your tamariki 

Morena - (good) Morning

Whaea -The term used to describe an adult female such as Mother or Aunty. Try using this instead of Mrs. or Ms. 

Matua - The term used to describe an adult male such as a Father or Uncle. Try substituting Matua for Mr.
tamariki ma - used when speaking to a group of children Ka pai - Very good! Tena koe - Thank You
Haere ki reira - Go over there Haere mai - Come here Haere ki waho - Go outside
Haere ki roto - Go inside Ka kite ano - I will see you again, good bye Ma te wa - Until we meet again
